African Black Soap

Derived originally from West Africa, our premium raw African Black Soap is made in Ghana through traditional hot process method using African recipes and techniques with no artificial fragrances.
African black soap is a plant-based cleanser made from the ash of locally harvested African plants and dried peels. Traditional recipes use palm kernel oil and the filtrate of burnt cocoa pod ash.
Since this soap is RAW*, do not rub the soap directly on the face or skin. Lather soap in hand or washcloth and apply to face, body, or hair.
*This soap may contain small particles of plantains that could scratch or cause irritation.
